Riccardo Paniccià, 12-year-old driver stops at the Arce International Circuit, where the single test of the Aci Italian Cup final was held, wins the national title again after having won it also in 2020, but this time in the X30 Junior category. RickyGas, as he calls himself on the social channels, already engaged in the first free practice sessions on the Arce track since Thursday, immediately shows up among the 30 drivers enrolled in the category, marking the reference times of his category from the first rounds . In qualifying on Saturday, the change in weather conditions with rain during the first minutes of the session did not allow him to do better than the fifth time. In the pre-final, however, he immediately redeems himself by arriving in second position after a very heated duel with another driver who ended up with a contact at the very last corner. In the final, on the other hand, after a very difficult start from second position, in the first laps he gave up many positions due to the tires not starting to work as in the previous days, but from the middle of the race he managed to find the right pace and reach the leading group. In the last few laps he manages to reach the second position behind the Austrian driver Weixelbaumer who wins the final but cannot win the Italian title by regulation. "It was a great race against strong and fast riders, after a very difficult start in the first laps, I found the right pace to recover positions and I fought until the last, giving everything I could, trying to make as little mistakes as possible, and I've done it! I want to thank my mechanic Alfredo Cicconi, my engineer Domenico Lofiego, my family, my sponsors and all my supporters "
